Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
TwilightImage (“we”, “us”) operates an AI-assisted photo-editing service for real-estate professionals. This Policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
2. What we collect
- Account info. Name, email and a hashed password when you sign up.
- Photos you upload. The original photos you choose to edit and the AI-edited outputs we generate for you.
- Usage data. Features used, credits purchased and consumed, timestamps.
- Payment data. We do not store full payment-card information. Payments are processed by Stripe, which collects and stores card data under its own policies.
- Technical data. IP address, browser type, basic device info for security and abuse prevention.
3. How we use your photos
Your photos and AI outputs are stored solely to provide the Service to you.
- We send your photo to our AI provider (Google Gemini, via the Emergent integrations layer) to produce the edited result you requested. Your photo travels over encrypted connections.
- We store the original and edited image associated with your account so you can revisit it in your gallery and re-download it.
- We do not sell or rent your photos. We do not use your photos to train AI models.
- You can request deletion of any creation, or of your entire account, by emailing support — see Section 8.
4. AI sub-processors
To deliver the Service we share photos and prompts with carefully selected AI sub-processors:
- Google Gemini Nano Banana — image-to-image generation for twilight, blue-sky and grass edits.
- Emergent Integrations — routing layer for our AI calls.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- MongoDB — database hosting for account and image data.
5. Retention
Account, photo and gallery data is retained while your account is active. If you delete an item from your gallery it is removed from our database within 30 days (subject to backup retention). If you close your account, we delete personal data within 60 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., payment receipts).
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage, bcrypt-hashed passwords, JWT session tokens and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email us to exercise these rights.
8. Contact & deletion requests
Reach us at privacy@lumiere.ai. Include “Delete my data” in the subject for deletion requests.
9. Changes
We will update this Policy when our practices change. Material changes will be communicated by email or by an in-app notice.
